The wicket was very good for batsmen and both teams batted very well but at last Kings XI Punjab won by 8 wickets. It was the second win of Kings XI Punjab in 9^th matches and they are still in the tournament. 

Mahela Jayawardene was the hero of the match who played an aggressive inning of 110 runs in just 59 balls. Sangakkara also contributed with 38 runs while Yuvaraj made 33 runs. 

KKR batsmen also played well and Gayle was the hero from their inning. He made 88 runs in just 42 balls with 8 sixes. Dada contributed with 36 runs while Tiwary for 35 runs.

Kings XI Punjab became the first team who is out from the IPL season 3. In their 8^th match they defeated by Royal Challengers Bangalore by 6 wickets. It was the 7^th loss of Kings XI Punjab out of 8 matches. Pietersen was the hero of the match who played an inning of not out 66 runs. He was declared as the man of the match.

In an interesting match Mumbai Indians defeated the KXI Punjab by 4 wickets. The match result came in the last over. In this over, MI needed 6 runs and Lee was the bowler. Harbhajan Singh and Satish was on the strike and they control their nerves and helps MI to get another victory. It was the 6^th victory of Mumbai Indians in this tournament and the team is rocking on the number position in IPL point table 2010. 

It was the sixth loss out of seven games to Punjab while Mumbai’s sixth win out of seven.

Man of the Match – Lasith Malinga

First time in the tournament, Ganguly played a brilliangt inning and helped his team to win. But Tiwary was the real star of this match who smashed a brilliant 75 runs. It was the second half century of Tiwarly in this season.

In the 19 match of IPL, Rajasthan Royals beat Kings XI Punjab by 31 runs. It was the second win of Rajasthan Royals in this season. 

At first Kings XI Punjab won the toss and elected to field. Rajasthan Royals made a good score 183 for the loss of 5 wickets. Fazal played a brilliant inning. He smashed 45 runs in 38 runs. Voges also contributed 45 runs in 24 balls and he hit 1 six and 5 fours in his inning. Yusuf Pathan made 28 runs while Lumb contributed with 41 runs. 

For chasing 184 runs, Kings XI Punjab got all out in 19.1 overs. They scored 152 runs. They got a good start from their openers but the middle order and lower order collapsed badly. That became the chief reason of this defeat. Tait took 3 wickets while Trivedi and Yusuf Pathan shared 2 wickets each.
